Grandmas2Share launch took place on September 6, 2014 and was a huge success! Despite being interrupted by a thunderstorm, dozens of neighborhood children (of all ages) and their families showed up for a book signing at the Learning Express in Staten Island and enjoyed a few hours of fun-filled activities, contests, snacks, and pictures with 5’ tall GRANDMAS! Some left with “MaMu” and “NiNi” dolls, and prizes consisting of Grandmas2Share t-shirts and travel water bottles, but EVERY child left with a goodie box filled with stickers, bookmarks, pencils, bubbles, candy, and of course, a Grandmas2Share storybook!

The storm subsided, and the party continued on! A celebratory cocktail party followed the book signing at Casa Nova Restaurant, also in Staten Island. Friends and family members all attended to wish me well and celebrate the launch of Grandmas2Share, Inc. The help of all who came out that day made the launch an absolute success!
